In May, Bayer proposed a merger with Monsanto but MON walked away telling Bayer that the price was too low. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I write about the fact that Bayer is back with a higher bid and a break-up fee proposal which could mean that MON is a buy at the current price of $103 per share despite the regulatory hurdles that could prove a deal killer.
