At the end of Q1 we saw a huge divergence between commodity prices and the dollar as raw materials rose by only 1.63% and the dollar fell by 4.22% over the first three months of 2016. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha, I outline the reasons why I believe this is bearish for equity prices and why even though they recovered over the second six weeks of Q1, storm clouds still surround the stock market in the United States and around the world as we head into Q2.
