Base Metals First Quarter 2016 Review and Outlook for Q2

Results in base metals were mixed in Q1 but the the composite of copper, aluminum, nickel, lead and tin prices moved higher than the December 31, 2015 close. In my latest piece for Seeking Alpha I go over the report card for non-ferrous metals and explain why the sector is caught between the economic slowdown in China and a continuation of low interest rates around the globe.
