The Dollar And Commodities: Which Is The Leader?

The dollar appreciated by over 27% between May 2014 and March 2015 meanwhile commodity prices fell. When the Fed postponed the anticipated interest rate hike in March the dollar corrected lower and some commodity prices rebounded. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha I look at the relationship between the dollar and raw material prices and explain why I think the dollar will head higher from here and commodity prices will fall — the volatility difference between the two asset classes could create some amazing opportunities for nimble traders.
