The Mexican Peso: An Oil Hedge Bought Some Stability But That Is Only Part Of The Story

Mexico hedged their 2015 oil production at $76.40 per barrel. The Mexican peso has continued to fall although it has fallen less than other Latin American currencies. In my latest article for Seeking Alpha I look at the peso in light of the oil hedge and the dangerous situation in the country which could mean the peso is headed much lower.
